String of Tears or Curio Herreanus was historically known as Senecio Herreianus. This plant is also commonly named String of Beads after its creeping stems and interesting spherical, pea-like foliage with tiny, slightly pointed tips.
String of Tears is a super laid-back plant – they like lots of sun and not much water, but don't leave them completely dry for long periods.
3.5 - 6 inch standard plastic hanging basket.
5 - 6 hours of indirect, bright light. Can handle short term direct light but be cautious of the plant burning.
Usually every 2 - 3 weeks once the soil has fully dried out. Use the 'soak & dry' method - completely soak the soil and water again only once the soil is fully dried out.
Plant Specific Care
Very sensitive to over watering. Use soil and a pot that drains well.
