Watermelon peperomia is one of the most popular species of the Peperomia genus. The reason behind this name is the silver-green stripes on the fleshy foliage, giving it a resemblance to the rind of a watermelon. It is commonly grown as a houseplant in containers. Plant Size Small: 3.5 - 4 inch standard nursery pot.  Medium: 6 inch standard nursery pot.  Medium HB: 6 inch hanging basket. Light Bright, indirect sunlight. Avoid exposing it to the direct sun to save the foliage from burning. While planting indoors, place the plant on an east or west-facing window. Outdoors, grow the plant in the shade. Water Water every 1-2 weeks. These semi-succulent leaves do not want to be overwatered. So allow the soil to dry out partially between waterings. Feel the top two inches of soil and as it begins to feel dry to touch give this plant a drink.  Plant Specific Care Your plant will do well in medium-level humidity. It should be fine with the humidity level in most homes however if you live somewhere particularly dry you may want to consider adding some form of humidity to your plant care.  Pet-Friendly Plant Yes.
