The unique Hindu Hoya Rope Plant, Hoya carnosa compacta, is a draping succulent that produces clusters of star-shaped, waxy flowers. The thick, twisted, curly, cupped leaves of a Hindu Rope plant are why it’s often called Krinkle Kurl. Plant Size Extra Small: 2.5 inch standard nursery pot Small: 4 inch standard nursery pot. Medium: 6 inch standard nursery pot. Large: 8 inch hanging basket. Light All Hindu Rope plants, both green and variegated, grow best in very bright light. Southern exposure is best, but it can adapt to east or west locations in front of a window. In low light, a Hindu Rope plant may never bloom. The afternoon sun will burn and bleach the colour of the leaves. Water All hoya plants, including the Hindu Rope plant, are succulents that need very little water. Water when the soil is almost dry. During the winter, water all varieties of hoya plants even less. Plant Specific Care Feed monthly during the spring and summer with a water-soluble plant food diluted to 1/2 the recommended strength.
