Fleur & Co

The Bearss Lemon is an exceptional choice if you’re looking to grow true lemons at home. It has a lot of great things going for it: for one thing, it has more juice than many lemon varieties of the same size. It also has a higher concentration of lemon oil in its skin, which makes it great for zesting. It’s very similar to the lemons you’ll find in a grocery store (usually Eureka or Lisbon lemons), but the tree grows a lot faster than either of those trees. Plant Size Guide Extra Small: 2 - 2.5 inch standard nursery pot. Small: 3.5 - 4 inch standard nursery pot.  Medium: 5 -6 inch standard nursery pot. Large: 7 - 8 inch standard nursery pot. Light They thrive in full sunlight, requiring 8-12 hours of direct sunlight per day, preferably from the southwest, whether indoors or outdoors. If this isn’t possible inside, consider investing in grow lights. Water Water when the top 2 inches of soil is dry to the touch. This plant does not cope well with flooded soil.  Plant Specific Care You should prune it periodically to keep it in its best health, maintain its structure and shape, and ensure that its branches can support fruit.
